Instructor Biography: Carol Lacey
Carol Lacey, associate professor of interdisciplinary studies in the College of Interdisciplinary Studies (CIS), Metropolitan State University, applies eFolioMN (eportfolio) and other strategies to help students identify, document and apply experiential learning to achieve self-directed learning (SDL) and prior learning assessment (PLA) outcomes. She chairs steering and advisory committees for the Lumina-funded Graduate Minnesota adult degree completion initiative. She teaches courses in educational planning and philosophy, sociology, writing and family studies, designs and implements university-wide eFolio training. She holds a Ph.D. in American studies, M.A. in journalism and political science, University of Minnesota.
