Instructor Biography: Martha Kudak
Martha Kudak has 25 years of experience working with adult learners in higher education as a dean, consultant and a faculty member. She helped develop and directed the first adult degree cohort in Minnesota, The College for Working Adults at Minneapolis Community College. In addition, she designed and developed ASAP (Adult Success through Accelerated Programs) at IHCC introducing accelerated courses and the expansion of credit for prior learning options for adult learners. She just retired from IHCC as Faculty Director of the Individualized Studies degree and Prior Learning Assessment Program while teaching courses in educational planning and prior learning assessment development. She continues to provide local and national consulting services in the areas of adult learning, accelerated programs, and PLA training and development. She also teaches as an adjunct associate professor at St. Mary's University of Minnesota and has been elected for a second year to serve on the Council for Accelerated Programs (CAP) board of directors. She has an MS in Psychology/Counseling and is a doctoral candidate in Organizational Leadership.
